Hello

I'm not sure anyone will understand my post, but i shall try anyway.

I am from Scotland and have just taken delivery of my New Polo 9N3 GTI.

There not much information about the Polo GTI on UK websites, so i am trying to see what you guys are up to.

I dont understand written german, but i use an online translator and i can usually figure out what is being said.

The Polo is my second VW, i also own a modified MK2 Golf GTI

The Polo has now covered 400miles from new

Polo GTI's are pretty expesive in the UK, 15000 GBP list price with the metallic paint. I think that is about 22000 euro.

I am very interested in fitting cruise control to the car as it did not come with this as standard. I have been unable to find any information on how to this. I know i can buy a cruise control stalk, but i am unsure if the wiring will be there for the controls, or if i will have to add it. Has anyone done this?

I have been searching German EBAY, i have found this for sale.

Can anyone help me with the cruise control

I have been told that it is the correct kit, but the instructions are only in German, and i'm not sure i'll be able to understand them

Has snyone got a set of instructions they could translate for me and let me see what is involved.

There's no problem when you've got the D on your plate?
If anyone do something like this in germany, the police would go crazy. Wink

The numberlates are totaly illegal in the uk. But they look superb. If you look my Golf has some on aswell. Laughing

Lots of people in the UK run German plates with UK numbers, Some even put fake Stadt stickers on them aswell.
