Thanx Andy, the badges made up for the panel van were 'GTDI' it was a 1.9 Turbo Diesel. I chiped it and it made 145hp on the wheels and 350nm torque. |

Sorry for the late reply... South Africa at the moment is 2 hours ahead of London so i think that would make it 1 hour ahead of Germany??? Not sure.
I bought a MKV GTI lower centre grill, then i took my original lower grill, cut out the slates with an air saw. I then made a template and cut out on the MKV's grill. It was then just a process of plastic welding it in and finishing it of with a plastic repair kit. I should mention that we own a bodyshop so i've been doing my own custom tricks for years now.
That pic i took doesn't do it justice, it looks way better in the flesh. It was hard work but to have something unique is worth it.
After being on this site and seeing the Polo Cup edition, i'm doing some research on getting the bumpers from VW. We did not get the Cup Edition here in SA even though they were built here in Port Elisabeth S.A.
The kit on the Cup is stunning and i would be the only Polo in SA with them! |

Oh you don´t know wintertime!
He ment the snowing season in germany, about -10.0 °C = +14.0 °F outside. Iced street´s and maybe dangerous to drive. There for we need here special tyres to get enough grip.

We suffer here in summer 38deg C' thus i've added Water Methonal injection to bring down the intake temps..  |
